Our Body Composition Analysis, presents our patients and clinicians a full picture in order to tailor a program unique for their body. The In Body 570 uses a patented Direct Segmental Multi-Frequency 8-Point Tactile technology.
It boasts a 98% correlation with Gold Standard body composition methods such as DEXA. The InBody is used by top hospitals, gyms, and professional sports teams because of its accuracy. A non-invasive test done by standing on the device with hand held electrodes, provides quick & comprehensive results. Patients receive a full-page Result Sheet detailing muscle, fat, and water measurements. The extensive report highlights areas of focus. Our 30-minute Body Composition Testing consultation includes the assessment and interpretation of results by our medical professionals.
For the most accurate results, please follow these important steps:
- Stay properly hydrated
- Do not consume food 3-4 hours before test
- Do not consume alcohol 24 before test
- Do not use lotion or ointment on hands or feet
- Do not drink caffeine on test day
- Do not exercise 6-12 hours before test
- Avoid testing when pregnant or menstruating
- Do not test after shower or sauna
- Remove jewelry, socks, pantyhose, and shoes
- Stand for at least 5 Minutes preceding test
- Patients with pacemakers or other electric devices should not take the InBody Test
